The Orchard Dementia Centre (RM)
The primary purpose of the Orchard is to provide care and stimulation for those suffering with Alzheimer's and Dementia. This is done by treating each client with respect and giving them the dignity that is often lacking in society once they have been diagnosed. The centre operates in a very relaxed, friendly and happy environment.
We are looking for volunteers who can help staff in various ways, depending on the skills you have.
Can you help our staff run various activities, chat to the clients or help out in the kitchen. If you are not able to help at the centre we would love you to get involved in our marketing: whether it be leaflet drops or assisting members of staff at information events.

This role would suit you if you have good communication skills and an ability to show empathy and support.
