Secretary to the Board of Trustees

We are a small charity established 33 years ago whose aim is to support individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to overcome barriers in daily interactions. Through 'Intensive Interaction' (II) sessions, tailored to unique communication styles, we foster engagement, understanding, and rapport. Our goal: enrich lives by reducing isolation and enhancing well-being through meaningful interactions.

We are looking for a secretary to the board of Trustees.  Their role will be to support the board, take on the administration, prepare for board meetings, take meeting minutes and coordinate/organise the bi-monthly meetings. 

What skills do I need?

• Organised.
• Excellent communication  and interpersonal skills.
• Record keeping, information retrieval and dissemination of Management Committee data/documentation to the trustees and relevant parties.
• Writing agendas and concise minutes.
• An ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
• Commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
• Ability to organise time and work to deadlines.
