Want to Volunteer but cannot give a regular commitment ? Get involved in our 'One Off' Events and help make a continued success of the Summer Show and Autumn Fayre whilst having fun enjoying the spirit of our Community Events
Leigh and District Cottage Garden Society hold two Events each year - the Summer Show and the Autumn Fayre
Volunteers needed in a variety of roles both before and during the events, during the event includes helping running stalls, stewarding in the Main Marquee, car park marshals and behind the scenes. Before help is needed with the preparation for the events including setting up of the Marquee, tents and stalls.
The Summer Show is a large event on 23 July 2022 and includes stalls and entertainment and the Autumn Fayre is in September 2022
Leigh and District Cottage Garden Society encourage the cultivation of vegetables and fruit and flowers and nurturing the continuance of home crafts in the community, holding talk evenings for members and non-members and two major Flower Show events with one including craft stalls and entertainment.
