Talking Tree
Talking Tree exists to raise community awareness and action to combat the negative effects of climate change. We believe that millions of little actions by ordinary people, can make a big positive difference for our local area and our planet.
Our vision is to make Spelthorne carbon neutral and the most nature-rich, sustainable, healthy and happy community in the UK.
We run a programme of events, education and skill-sharing as well as various projects, one of which is a allotment that helps provide food that we sell in our cafe in Staines High Street.
We are in need of more volunteers to help nurture the allotment. If you are interested in joining our wonderful volunteer team, please get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you.
Someone who is reasonably fit, has a love of the outdoors and is available at weekends is all that is required.
No previous experience is required, support and guidance is available.
