RSPCA Surrey East
We are looking for volunteer cat fosterers to provide care for some of the most vulnerable animals in the area. Surrey East branch will provide supplies, veterinary cover, and ongoing support, whilst our fosterers provide a temporary home environment and plenty of TLC!
As a cat foster carer, you will play a crucial role in looking after cats that come in to our care. You will be fostering cats in your own home, providing a safe environment that can be adapted to their needs. Some cats will need time to become accustomed to their new surroundings and people in their surroundings. The care and interaction you will provide will help develop socialisation skills which will better prepare them for the next stage of their life.
Fostering is a great opportunity if you love animals but aren't in a position to have a pet long-term. It is an incredibly rewarding experience to see a cat blossom in their foster home - it is even more rewarding knowing that it has prevented them from going in to a high-stress cattery environment. This is a great opportunity to make a difference to the welfare of cats.
What is required?
All necessary equipment and veterinary care will be provided by RSPCA Surrey East Branch.
