Clerk/Treasurer

The organisation manages 3 properties to provide accommodation for men and women over 55 years, living alone and in need of accommodation who have been SH residents for at least 10 years. 

This role looks after the trust in the following ways:

• Prepares the agenda for AGM and other meetings and takes the minutes.
• Uses an income and expenditure accounts system and reconciles bank statements.
• Prepares payments by cheque 8-12 per year.
• Communicates with residents and SHBC housing benefit dept on payments.
• Organises property evaluation every 3 years.
• Carries out administrative tasks on behalf of the trustees.
• Ensures the Charity investments and funds are monitored and regularly reported,
