Help us run our community cafés at Hersham Centre for the Community and Walton Community Hub, by serving food and refreshments, welcoming visitors, chatting with people and creating a warm, friendly and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.

What skills do I need?

- Friendly, clear and respectful communication with customers, volunteers and staff.

- Making tea and coffee, preparing simple food and serving customers.

- Keeping tables, kitchen areas and supplies organised and helping the café run smoothly.

- Being welcoming to people from different backgrounds, including older people, families and people who may be socially isolated or vulnerable.

- Helping to create a safe, welcoming community space.
