Oxted & District Link Association (Link)
Based in your own home in the Oxted District area you will be answering a telephone line for a 'Good Neighbour' organisation which offers transport to medical appointments for local residents who have no other means of getting there.
The telephone line operates between 9am and
1pm Monday to Friday.
Duties are carried out on a rota basis (currently one morning a month) on a day of the week that is generally suitable for you. You can swap duties with other volunteers as required.
You will use your own computer to access the volunteer and client database to take new requests for drives and allocate a volunteer driver.
Full training will be given and there is on-going support.
You will be required to have a Basic DBS check.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Friendly and enjoy chatting to people.
Basic computer literacy.
