There are three vibrant community centres in Banstead, Reigate (Woodhatch) and Horley run by Reigate and Banstead Borough Council. (Horley are not currently looking for volunteers). They offer a wide range of classes and groups to the community, including older residents. They each benefit from the support of a great group of volunteers and each of the centres are always looking for new volunteers. You might be interested in sharing your passion with a group of residents and the centre can help you set up a new group.
Alternatively you might be interested in helping on the reception desk or in the snack bar.
Its a great way to meet others locally and giving back to others.
We are more than happy to discuss what role would be most suitable for you.
We'd love people with enthusiasm for their local community and a willingness to lend a hand to join the volunteer teams. You don't need to have specific skills you will receive training for any role you take up.
