"Be part of something brilliant – help create a proper village fete to remember!"

Your local community event needs you!  The Ottershaw Village Fete are looking for volunteers to help at this years fete taking place on Saturday 20th June from 1-5pm at Ottershaw Memorial Fields. 

The team would like to invite anyone interested in helping out this year to join us for an informal Volunteer Welcome Session on Wednesday 13th May @ 7.30pm at the Castle Pub in Ottershaw.  We have a variety of roles available for all abilities!  Please register your details here in advance, so the team know who are coming!  https://www.ottershawvillagefete.com/volunteer

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Team Leaders (help coordinate stalls/areas)
  • Stall Assistants (run games, sell tickets, serve refreshments)
  • Gate Crew (welcome visitors and manage entries)
  • Set-up/Tidy-up Teams (before/after the event)
  • Bar Staff (serve drinks to thirsty attendees)

    We don't have one but do have event management plan, emergency plan and others

    In the lead up to the event but not needed after
  • Training provided
    If they are being asked to take card payments or scan tickets then training will be provided for this
  • Volunteer induction
    We will be holding a meeting for all volunteers before the event and then they will be met on the field to start their 'shift'
