Talking Tree exists to raise community awareness and action to combat the negative effects of climate change. We believe that millions of little actions by ordinary people, can make a big positive difference for our local area and our planet. 

Our vision is to make Spelthorne carbon neutral and the most nature-rich, sustainable, healthy and happy community in the UK. 

The cafe is the hub of the Talking Tree community. Meals that have been prepared with surplus food or homegrown ingredients is prepared and sold in our cafe.

We are looking for more drivers to help with the collection of surplus food to be delivered to our cafe. 

What skills do I need?

All volunteers will need to have use of their own car and have all required document checks. Cars need to be of a reasonable size to accommodate the crates of food.

Usually drivers collect food from our batch cooks and surplus food suppliers on a Tuesday morning to deliver to the cafe in Staines High Street.
