Care in Shepperton (SP)
Make a real difference from the comfort of your own home!
As a Duty Officer for Care in Shepperton, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for people in need of help — such as transport to medical appointments or other essential support.
You’ll be on duty one morning a month (9:30am – 1:00pm), answering calls that are forwarded to your home. From there, you’ll help coordinate assistance by contacting local volunteers. It’s a vital role that helps keep our community supported and connected.
All outgoing calls are reimbursed (15p per call), and full guidance is provided.
Please note: This role may require a Criminal Records (DBS) check.
No special qualifications are needed — just a caring nature and a calm, organised approach.
You should be:
Perfect for anyone who wants to volunteer from home and make a real impact in their community.
