Heathland Conservation Society (HSC) (SH)
We need enthusiastic volunteers to help with clearing and cutting back the common usually on Broadmoor to Bagshot Heathland. This work is mainly done from Oct to Feb when ground birds are not nesting.
Working outdoors can be strenuous but gives a great sense of wellbeing and can have positive health benefits.
Conservation volunteering takes place on Wednesday mornings from beginning of Oct to end of February.
Training is given.
Initiative, passion and a sense of humour are welcomed.
