Be a Voice of Support – Helpline Volunteer from Home
Surrey Drug & Alcohol Care (SDAC) is seeking caring and empathetic individuals to join our team of Helpline Volunteers. Help us provide a 24-hour confidential support line for people across Surrey facing mild to moderate mental health or drug/alcohol issues.
There are no minimum qualifications required, and volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds. You’ll volunteer from your own home for just 5+ hours per fortnight, with no cost to you. Full induction training is provided via Zoom, ensuring you're well-prepared before starting.
If you have good listening and self-management skills, and the ability to offer empathy and support, we’d love to hear from you.
The Helpline Volunteer role requires:

24-hour rota system 7/7 working with availability of volunteer on a fortnightly basis. Shifts five hours - 8am - 11pm; 11pm - 8 am; 8am night shift
