ParkPlay is a weekly, free, community run activity for everyone, that helps build healthier, happier communities through the life changing power of play. 

PlayLeaders are the ones who make ParkPlay happen every week. You don't need to commit every week and can bring your family with you.

PlayLeaders:

  • Set up ParkPlay before ParkPlayers arrive
  • Lead games and keep the buzz going
  • Build relationships with ParkPlayers
  • Welcome ParkPlayers to ParkPlay
  • Make sure everyone is included and involved
  • Scan ParkPlay Passes and report any accidents.

We will provide:

  • Full support and training, including an enhanced DBS, first aid qualification, safeguarding, tech, safety and promotion.
  • Access to our PlayLeader digital community with over 200 members.
  • Guides, support on Saturdays, monthly newsletter of ideas and top tips.
  • Resources, equipment, games and kit.

What skills do I need?

  • Friendly and outgoing welcomer
  • Confident leading simple activities for both adults and children
  • Basic digital skills to navigate training

Availability Details

ParkPlay runs every Saturday morning from 9.30am-11.30am. You will be part of a team so wouldn't need to lead every week, roughly once a month. You would need to put in some time beforehand to plan the session, and turn up slightly early to set up.
