"Got fixing skills? Help save treasures from the bin at our Repair Café!"

We're looking for handy volunteers to join our repair team, giving broken items a new lease of life. Whether you're a whizz with electronics, a dab hand at woodwork, or a wizard with textiles, your skills can help reduce waste and teach others.

What We Need:
• Practical problem-solvers who can diagnose faults
• People comfortable explaining repairs to owners
• Those who know when something's beyond fixing
• Anyone happy working in a busy, friendly environment

What skills do I need?

You'll Be:
✓ Fixing items like small appliances, furniture, bikes or clothes
✓ Sharing your know-how with grateful owners
✓ Helping build a more sustainable community
✓ Part of a lively team (with plenty of tea breaks!)

No pro qualifications needed – just:
• Solid repair skills in your area
• Patience to work through tricky fixes
• Common sense about safety

Availability Details

Our Repair Sessions are run on the third Saturday of every month and are open to the public between 10am and 12.30pm. Our team meets from approximately 9am to set up until 1pm when we have cleared away and returned the space to its original layout.
