Are you passionate about making a difference and love all things social media – The new Mole Valley Community Fund is looking for a Social Media Volunteer to help amplify our message and connect with our community.

Our ambition is to provide sustainable funding to support community projects and smaller charitable groups in Mole Valley by bringing together donors and stakeholders who are passionate about supporting their local community and who can make a difference to the area in which they live.

You will be the voice behind our online presence!

· Content creation – developing engaging posts, graphics and possibly short videos for SM channels

· Scheduling and publishing – planning content to ensure consistent impactful online presence

· Community engagement – responding to messages & comments, fostering vibrant online community

· Campaign support – assisting with promotions and working with Community Foundation for Surrey

· Analytics – not essential – helping to track and analyse social media impact

What skills do I need?

We are looking for someone who is –

· Social media savvy – needs to have strong understanding of various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

· Creative and engaging – can you craft compelling copy and visually appealing content

· Organised and reliable – you can manage your time effectively and meet deadlines

· Teamwork – can work with others in small MVCF Panel team

· Passionate about our cause – keen to contribute to our success

· Self starter – proactive and can work independently

Availability Details

Approximately one to two hours per week plus usual monthly panel meeting circa two hours. We use MVDC Offices in Dorking to meet.
