Briars Field Forest School (SH)
We need empathetic and lively volunteers to help us run sessions at our forest school in Chobham supporting children with additional needs.
There are many flexible ways you can get involved and help out:
Attend on one of our open days in half terms/school holidays and occasionally a Sunday in summer. You would help set up the field for activities and clear up afterwards.
Help with the ponies.
Help as a lunch club volunteer 12-2pm.
If you love being outdoors then we can fit you in somewhere!
There is also the opening to help with light gardening once a fortnight.
Horse skills required to work with the ponies
Useful to have knowledge of special need children and young people.
Ability to do arts and craft and help everyone join in.
Not mind getting muddy or dirty but enjoy the outdoors.
Basic gardening skills. Preparing areas for children to dig and plant.
