"Help children discover nature's wonders – where muddy hands mean happy hearts!"
Join our outdoor learning team supporting children with additional needs through nature-based activities at our beautiful forest school. Flexible roles available to match your skills and interests.
Opportunities Include:
Activity Support (arts, crafts & nature exploration)
Pony Assistance (for experienced volunteers)
Lunch Club (12-2pm, helping with meals)
Light Gardening (fortnightly plot preparation)
Open Day Help (school holidays/weekends)
Session Times:
• School holidays & some Sundays (Open Days)
• Weekly lunch club (weekdays 12-2pm)
• Fortnightly gardening sessions
Horse skills required to work with the ponies
Useful to have knowledge of special need children and young people.
Ability to do arts and craft and help everyone join in.
Not mind getting muddy or dirty but enjoy the outdoors.
Basic gardening skills. Preparing areas for children to dig and plant.
