We are seeking a Treasurer Trustee to provide financial oversight and help guide the strategic financial direction of the organisation.


The Role
The Treasurer Trustee will oversee the financial affairs of SMT, ensuring transparency, accountability, and sustainability. You will work closely with the Chair and Board to monitor budgets, support funding applications, and help the organisation grow its impact responsibly.

What skills do I need?

• Financial management experience (e.g. accounting, bookkeeping, or business finance).
• Strong understanding of budgets, financial reporting, and cashflow.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-financial board members.
• An interest in or commitment to mental health, community work, or social impact.
• Experience working with small organisations, charities, or CICs is an advantage.
