Our volunteer-led charity is seeking a Trustee to act as Company Secretary.  The Board meet remotely, bi-monthly, with meetings usually lasting no more than 45 minutes. The existing eight Trustees work in small sub-committees:  Governance, Finance, Fundraising, Production.  The charity is led by the Founder/CEO with plans, before retirement, to gradually replace her with a Leadership Team. The charity is also setting up a local Committee to run its Barn Hub. This is an exciting period for the charity as, having opened its Barn Hub to the public in early 2025, its work is rapidly expanding and reaching out to more and varied members of the community. In addition to our toured multi-sensory productions, we provide:

- weekly Memory Cafe for people living with Dementia, the elderly and the frail.  These are fun events with a variety of activities on offer (nutritional cookery, live music, seated exercise class, bingo, etc.)

- weekly drama sessions.  'A Sense of Fun' theatre group has been established for children and young adults with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities.

- monthly drumming class.  For young adults with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities.

- YouTube Learning Channel.  For children who cannot access a live performance because of distance, disability, disadvantage or social anxieties.

The charity's main focus is Earned Income, with less reliance on funders.  To achieve this we are expanding our services and promoting the Barn Hub as a suitable venue for birthday parties and regular event hiring.

The Barn Hub is unique in the East Surrey area with:

- Changing Places Toilet (complete with hoist and changing bed)

- Studio Theatre with small stage for solo artists and a large stage with wheelchair ramp for disabled actors

- Cafe

- Library

- Wardrobe Hire Department
