Volunteer at the Volunteer Fair! - Saturday 26th September 2026

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to support our Volunteer Fair at the Belfry Shopping Centre in Redhill on Saturday 26th September. This event will bring together local organisations and members of the public to celebrate volunteering and encourage more people to get involved in their communities.

As an Event Volunteer, you could be welcoming visitors, helping with creative activities, giving directions or supporting with set-up and pack-down. This is a great opportunity to be part of a positive community event and meet new people.

There are a range of volunteering opportunities available, including:

• Set-up volunteers
• Welcome volunteers
• Activity volunteers
• Pack-down volunteers

Most importantly, we want volunteers to enjoy the day and help spread the joy of community action.

Ideally, you will be able to help for four hours or more, but if you are only available for an hour or two, please still get in touch.

Key Responsibilities

• Help with setting up the Volunteer Fair before the event begins
• Welcome visitors and help create a friendly atmosphere
  
• Provide directions and signpost people to key areas of the event
  
• Support creative activities and help in other areas where needed
  
• Help with packing down the event at the end of the day

Time Commitment

Shifts are ideally 4 hours, between 8am – 5pm.

Additional Information

A volunteer induction and briefing pack will be shared ahead of the event.
