New Haw and Woodham Good Neighbours (RM)
Drive Someone’s Day – Volunteer as a Community Driver
New Haw and Woodham Good Neighbours (Runnymede) supports local residents 7 days a week with essential tasks like shopping, collecting prescriptions, and transport to medical or personal appointments.
As a Volunteer Driver, you’ll provide lifts to those who can’t get around easily – helping with trips to hospitals, GPs, the hairdresser, or even visiting the housebound for a chat or to swap library books. You’ll be making a genuine difference in people’s lives by giving them independence and connection.
You'll need a valid driving licence, insurance, and be willing to undergo a DBS check.
Friendliness, reliability, good communication, local knowledge, and a caring nature.
