Grow for Good – Volunteer Gardeners Needed at The Therapy Garden
Join The Therapy Garden in Normandy, Surrey, and help us harness the healing power of gardening to support people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and school-age teens needing educational support.
As a Volunteer Gardener, you’ll work alongside our horticulture team to maintain and develop our peaceful, productive garden space.
Your role may include:
• Seasonal maintenance – pruning, weeding, tidying, planting
• Light or heavier tasks like mowing or strimming (training provided where needed)
• Taking ownership of an allocated garden area and reporting progress to staff
Requirements:
• Willingness to follow instructions and work independently
• Physically able for outdoor tasks
• Optional: Training and confidence to operate garden machinery for those interested
Your time and care can make a lasting difference to our clients’ wellbeing.
