To help maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable woodland environment for residents, visitors, and dog walkers while supporting nature conservation and outdoor wellbeing activities within the village. The volunteer acts as a friendly visible presence in the woodland, encouraging respectful use of the space and helping residents and visitors enjoy the natural surroundings safely.

What skills do I need?

  • Punctual and reliable.

  • Promote environmental awareness
  • Promote considerate behaviour, including: respecting wildlife and residents’ privacy, staying on designated paths.
  • Provide directions and general information about woodland routes and village guidelines.

• Flexible volunteering hours. Ideally 4-6 hours per week. • This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. while fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere. • A friendly dog would be welcome to join you for this role.
