E-commerce Assistant Volunteer (CSVA)

The online marketplace is an important avenue for fundraising and supplements the great contribution to Hospice funds.

The items that we prepare for online selling need to be researched, then photographed, priced and listed on the right platforms.

If you enjoy online shopping, have a good eye for detail and a flair for photography then this could be the perfect role for you!

Ideally, you will be able to commit to a regular half day per week.

The Hub is open Monday – Saturday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

You’ll be comfortable using online marketplace platforms (such as Ebay), confident writing descriptions and taking product photos.

By volunteering as an E-commerce Assistant Volunteer, you’ll not only gain new skills, knowledge, and social networks; you’ll be making a difference in your local community.

What skills do I need?

Have a passion for online retail with experience of writing product descriptions and selling items online (such as on Ebay).

Be computer literate with strong online security awareness Be self-motivated and open to learning new skills Be a good communicator
