Visit independent catering businesses to advise that there are new requirements to provide customers with information about allergens, to deliver written guidance materials about these requirements and about the Eat Out Eat Well healthy eating award scheme, to note what allergens notices were already being displayed and obtain copies of take-away menus. Record the details of each visit and request for further advice and information on a template document. You would not be telling businesses what they are required to do.
To be successful in this role you are likely to be outgoing and enjoy meeting people, reliable and have a professional approachable demeanour. The information and materials that you will be distributing will be explained to you.

This role is flexible, with no set times for carrying it out but tasks would need to be completed during the hours the businesses were open and within a set time frame.
