Walton Stroke Group is looking for Support volunteers to join our friendly team at Walton Community Centre, Mondays between 10am – 1pm.  Volunteers will assist attendees to get the most out of each session and to support them to undertake tasks.

If you like meeting and talking to people we would love to hear from you.

What skills do I need?

  • To assist in the preparation and clearing away of materials and equipment for each session.
  • To always demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude
  • Ability to lead and motivate individuals to take part
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A desire to work with older people

 

There will be training/induction to Health and Safety
