Queen Elizabeth's Foundation (CSVA)
MERU (part of the QEF family of charities) adapts toys and creates innovative accessories to facilitate children to be able to play and use equipment which may otherwise not be possible.
Our aim is for the MERU adapted toys children receive to look the same as they do in their original packaging.
We are looking for a patient volunteer to carefully remove toys, keeping all the original packaging intact, then repack once adapted.
Some of this is very intricate and requires an eye for detail and a dexterous touch.
If you would like to be part of a team that helps reach more disabled children to give them the gift of play and learning through play, this could be the role for you!
This role is informal, team orientated role and would suit someone who like to volunteer in a team environment. There is plenty of scope to learn new skills and meet new people.
