Field Studies Council
Juniper Hall is a large 17th century manor house set at the foot of Box Hill. Now home to the Field Studies Council, a charity looking to bring people closer to nature by teaching them about the world around them. Juniper Hall has around 5 acres of lawns, gardens, ponds, woodlands and meadows.
To help manage this, we are looking to build up a team of volunteers to help with the grounds and gardening on a weekly basis.
Enjoy working with others outside whilst gaining experience.
We do many things such as machinery use/maintenance, gardening and planting, pruning and hedge cutting, coppicing and habitat creation to name a few.
Refreshments are always provided.
Happy to get your hands dirty and work in a team with others.
Willing to learn new skills and follow guidance given.
Don't worry, we don't require you to have any prior knowledge of working outdoors.
