Domestic Volunteer

Life Housing is one of the largest providers of accommodation for pregnant women and unsupported mothers aged between 16-25 years in the UK. Our comprehensive service prepares tenants for independent living with their children in the future. We're looking for volunteers to help our keep the communal areas of our houses clean and demonstrate to our clients how to maintain the home. Tasks will include:

• Keeping the Life House’s communal areas (including kitchen, lounge, and bathrooms) clean. 
• Emptying and taking out bins. 
• Hoovering. 
• Wiping down sides and tables. 
• Role-modelling to clients how to use cleaning equipment safely.  

What skills do I need?

• A friendly and helpful attitude. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Patience, sensitivity, reliability, and good listening and communication skills.
