Trustee with Social Services, Healthcare, or Local Authority Experience

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our board of trustees as a Trustee with expertise in social services, healthcare, or local authority matters. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting the strategic direction of our charity, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality services to individuals living with dementia and their families.

What skills do I need?

> Experience working within social services, health authority, or local authority settings, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these sectors.

> Previous experience serving on a board of trustees or similar governance body is desirable but not essential.

> Knowledge of dementia care and/or experience working with individuals living with dementia and their families would be advantageous but not essential.

> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

> A commitment to the values and mission of the charity, with a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.

> Availability to attend regular trustee meetings and engage actively in the work of the board.
