Age Concern Epsom & Ewell (CSVA)
Contribute to the wellbeing of older persons in Epsom & Ewell by working within a team to encourage social interaction during the teas.
• Help setting up hall with tables and chairs and hoover at the end of the session. • Chatting with clients and making them feel at ease. • To assist attendees with participating with activities/ entertainment quizzes/puzzles where appropriate. • Assist with tea making, washing up and serving, when required.
Venue: Stoneleigh Dates: Every second Sunday of the month Hours: 2.00pm – 4.45-5.00pm
• Understanding of and empathy with the needs of older people • Good communication skills • Ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative as required • A friendly disposition with experience in dealing with older people • An appropriate first aid certificate, training will be provided.
