Age Concern Epsom & Ewell (CSVA)
Every second Sunday of the month drivers are needed to take clients for the much loved ACEE Sunday tea at the Stoneleigh Methodist Church and to drop them home again.
The opportunity is very flexible. The volunteer joins a bank of drivers and can either help each month or help on an ad-hoc basis. Anything helps!
The driver is based at home and journeys are usually within Epsom and Ewell. Mileage is paid at 50p per mile.
The driver needs to be a good communicator with the ability to relate to the needs of older people. A sense of humour always helps. We are looking for someone who is reliable and trustworthy and understands the need for confidentiality.
The volunteer must be a good driver with an understanding of safety issues.
Depends on where the driver lives in relation to the pick-up point. Expenses will be paid for the whole journey provided the volunteer is driving from the Epsom & Ewell area.
Unfortunately, we are unable to pay additional expenses for those volunteers who are coming from outside this area.
