Ashford and St Peters Hospital Foundation Trust (VSNS)
Ashford and St Peter's Hospital Charity works hard to provide a range of extras to support patients and staff at the hospital every day. We are hosting a fun run at Kempton Park Racecourse on 27th June, which promises to be a really special event - a true community event for a truly community-orientated charity. There is something for everyone, with 5K and 10K races as well as a fancy-dress fun run of just over 1km for younger children and families.
The really lovely part is that runners can choose exactly where their fundraising goes - whether that’s paediatrics, cancer care, cardiology, neonatal babies, or another area close to their hearts.
We're looking for individuals or teams of volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible for all participants. Volunteers will be helping at water stations, cheering runners on, or handing out medals at the finish line. There’s lots of easy free parking at the venue and we are encouraging families and friends to come along and cheer on for free as there will be food trucks and entertainment from our gym partners who will be aiding the warm ups!
