Volunteer Treasurer –

Epsom and Ewell Climate Action Network’s Library of Things Organisation: Climate Action Network/ Library of Things

Location: Epsom & Ewell

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, flexible

Start Date: Flexible- will follow a gradual and supportive induction

Help Us Make Borrowing Better! Join our local movement to reduce waste and promote community sharing. We’re building a Library of Things a place where people can borrow tools, equipment and more and we need a Treasurer to help us stay on track financially and help us promote and manage donations for this free service.

What skills do I need?

What You’ll Do:

• Keep basic financial records (income, spend, budget)

• Support funding applications with simple financial info

• Help our Climate Action Network succeed in its application to the Charity Commission

• Attend short monthly meetings (in-person or online) to advice on financial matters Keep a record of all financial transactions and an annual financial report for the Charity Trustees to approve

Is This You?

You’re comfortable with numbers, use of spread sheets and organised, and also care about sustainability.

You don’t need to be a qualified accountant — just reliable and willing to learn.

Availability Details

Time Commitment & Support · This is a flexible volunteer role, and we appreciate any time you can give. · Ideally, we are looking for someone who can commit 2–3 hours per week. Our Climate Action Network Team will provide full support and guidance—you’ll be joining a welcoming and collaborative team who want to make a difference in their local community. Ideally you will become one of our Trustees and work with us on our application to the Charity Commission We will be pleased to discuss with you how you might like to be involved in doing this as well as keeping our financial records
