Visitor Assistant (CSVA)

We are looking for Volunteers to support our friendly team in making visitors welcome and keeping them informed of our exhibits and local history 

• to greet and welcome visitors
• to collect information from visitors for marketing purposes
• to answer queries from visitors or telephone queries and pass on to the relevant team
• to keep an eye on the security of the museum and its objects
• to ensure that the Museum is a safe environment and to evacuate the Museum in an emergency;
• to hand out guides, children’s quizzes, large print book where needed. To assist in the operation of equipment
• to sell items from the museum shop
• to generally assist in making visitors’ experience a good one
• to keep the museum generally tidy and presentable 

What skills do I need?
