Volunteer drivers take sick or elderly people to

1. medical appointments

2. collect prescriptions, pensions or essential shopping (optional)

3. the hairdressers, opticians or library

Duty drivers work one day a month; back-up drivers as available

All the work takes place within a 5 mile radius of Shepperton (including Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals)

This opportunity may involve a Criminal Records Bureau check.

What skills do I need?

Volunteers should be careful drivers and good listeners with a friendly disposition.

They need a driving licence, insurance and MOT - details are kept by the Drivers' Co-ordinator
