Duty Officers work one morning a month from 9.30-1 in their own home, taking phone calls from clients needing help, and arranging the transport or other help required.

The helpline number is redirected to your home for the duration of your morning shift, and any calls out are reimbursed at 15 pence each.

This opportunity may involve a Criminal Records Bureau check.

What skills do I need?

Duty Officers do not need any special qualifications, but do need to be good listeners and able to keep clear records and to keep calm on busy days.
