Friends of Chertsey Library
Library Lambs meet fortnightly on a Friday afternoon at Chertsey Library providing a space for parents, carers, grandparents and their babies and toddlers to socialise and play. It’s a great place to make connections and find out about other local groups and resources. The group is looking for volunteers able to help run these sessions. Volunteers will help to set up the space ahead of the sessions, welcome parents and their children and help to clear away at the end. If you enjoy meeting new people and would like to help parents in the local area, this is a lovely friendly group to support.
The group meets from 2.30 to 4.30 every Friday all year round, not just term time. At the moment the group meets every other week but they hope in the future to increase to weekly.
Volunteers need to be friendly and like young children/toddlers.
