Social Media Manager

Tailfeatherdance is looking for a go-getter who can:

• Develop social media strategies with the aim of increasing awareness of the dancers.
• Post and promote weekly dance fitness videos (YouTube, FB, Inst and Twitter).
• Create captivating content for Tailfeather's social media sites (photos and/or videos), including for their upcoming show in March.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies.
• Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts.
• Analyse the long-term needs of Tailfeather's social media strategy, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan.

This role would suit someone who feels that their skills would be utilised in promoting disability awareness and challenging perceptions within the performing arts.

What skills do I need?

• A very good understanding of driving traffic to social media sites (YouTube, FB, Insta and Twitter)
• Using own initiative to promote the Tailfeather dancers.
• Able to work on own.

Tailfeatherdance has had a successful presence on social media since 2020.

The dance fitness videos on YouTube ('Tailfeatherdance' and 'TailfeatherTV channels') have many views but we are looking to develop exposure of the dancers' work and abilities in order to promote disability awareness, champion the abilities of dancers who have additional learning needs, and challenge perceptions within the performing arts.  The hope is that with greater exposure, more and more performance and media companies will develop their own inclusion and diversity.
