Volunteer with Surplus to Supper

Surplus to Supper are working to bridge the gap between food waste and food poverty locally. They source and distribute surplus food to those in need and to local foodbanks and other charities. They have a range or volunteer roles available including:

• People to help unload and repack surplus food deliveries
• Drivers able to collect and deliver surplus food out to local charities and foodbanks
• People to help prep and chop food to go into meals for distribution to people in need.

They are a dynamic and growing organisation who are truly committed to reducing food waste and work.

What skills do I need?

There are a range of roles available for all ages and abilities. They are happy to consider each volunteer's abilities and interest. They frequently look for drivers able to head out to deliver to local charities and those who are happy to life and pack surplus food arriving on site. But there are also kitchen-based roles and even administrative support work.
