Epsom and Ewell Time Bank (TB) is an exciting new startup organisation that is focused on local community projects to exchange time, skills and experience in the spirit of co-operation, social interaction and integration.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about the community to join our team and can help manage the oversight of task offers / requests using the online software platform, meeting and registering new members and visiting exchanges.

Supported by the Epsom and Ewell Time Bank Project Manager the role would primarily be working from home with visits to our sites in Epsom, Ewell, Stoneleigh, Banstead and Ashtead.

The role is flexible to suit the volunteer and we would request a minimum commitment of 4 hours per week and would ask you would be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months to the project.

What skills do I need?

Enthusiasm, good people and communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality and a desire to help in your local community are essential. A DBS check is required for the role and will be provided.

We are looking for volunteers with the skills to support with the following:

·       Local knowledge to help establish and maintain community contacts and partnerships.

·       Admin / IT Skills

·       Communications, marketing, and PR

·       Finance

·       Coaching and team building – the ability to work with participants to build confidence and maximise their abilities.

·       An understanding the charity sector.

·       Project planning and evaluation

·       Time management
