Active Surrey (VSNS)
Every year parents, young people and coaches volunteer to help make the Surrey Youth Games happen. Whether you want to enjoy the buzz, develop your skills or 'give something back, we have an opportunity for you.
You don't have to be 'sporty' to get involved either - alongside roles in things like umpiring and scoring we also need:
The Games take place on the 15 June 2024 but we also have volunteering / work experience opportunities in the days leading up to the event for anyone aged 16+.
You will be thoroughly briefed on your role before the day, and who knows, based on previous years you may even end up alongside a future Olympic medal winner!

Volunteering as part of the team supporting the Specsavers Surrey Youth Games, a children's sports festival.
Roles are many and varied. You could be welcoming children and their families to the event and showing them where to go; help to set up and run an activity; supporting the event registration desk; chatting to families in the Family Zone and explaining the activities on offer there; or helping set up and run our smoothie bike!
Be friendly and approachable, able to interact with people of all ages.
Be proactive and help out and get stuck in!
Be flexible.
Good with young people.

The Surrey Youth Games are being held on Saturday 15th June 2024. Timings may vary slightly between roles, but the majority of roles will be 9am - 4pm.
