Dyscover (CSVA)
This role involves promoting Dyscover to businesses in the local community to build relationships and gain support.
You would be contacting local shops and businesses to source raffle or auction prizes for various fundraising events that are coming up this year. You would then collect the prizes and thank the local shops and businesses for their support.
In addition we are looking for local businesses to sponsor our 30th Anniversary Grand Ball in April 2024.
Full background information about our charity and support from our Community Fundraising Coordinator would be provided before starting this role.
Location: An initial meeting at our office in Leatherhead. Then ideally around Leatherhead/Epsom/Dorking/Ashtead areas
When? Totally flexible – a day or two that suits the interested volunteers who would work in small teams.
A personal and friendly manner. An organised approach to record keeping. An honest and trustworthy nature. Confidence to approach businesses and organisations who may be able to provide a raffle prize or support our fundraising in some way.

As much or as little time as you are able to manage. You will be required to attend the bi-monthly Community Fundraising Committee meetings and generally we are looking for raffle prizes 3-4 times a year.
