My Time for Young Carers run clubs for young carers in the Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley areas. Our aim is to provide fun activities for children and young people whose lives are made difficult because of the physical or mental ill health of family members. At our sessions, members can forget their troubles, meet other young carers and have a great time. It’s all free – fun, food and transport.

New Trustees are needed to support the organisation. We need trustees who are willing to use their skills and knowledge to oversee the organisation and ensure we are offering fun activities and safe spaces, by helping with service delivery of youth clubs and holiday activities.

Approx. 4-6 trustee meetings per year, plus attendance at youth clubs and holiday events as required.

If you have a passion for supporting children and wish to get involved in your local area, then support My Time.  A Trustee will ensure the club is managed in accordance with its constitution and are responsible for the strategic direction, finances and future proofing service delivery.

What skills do I need?

Leadership, Teamwork, Governance, if possible, experience of supporting vulnerable children or families.
