Runnymede Food Bank (RM)
We are looking for Volunteers to collect donations from the supermarkets from local supermarkets.
They should be able bodied and have their own mid-size car; preferably a hatch back for ease of loading. We have vacancies for collections at Waitrose Egham on a Wednesday and Tesco Addlestone on a Monday.
For Tesco they will have to collect a dozen empty flat-pack crates from the warehouse and then go to the supermarket where they will collect the donations from the donation basket into their crates. Then return the donations to the warehouse and transfer them to a cage and fix a label identifying the source of the donation.
If they collect in the morning there will be a warehouse shift with people available to assist the unloading.
For Waitrose the donations will be packed into crates already. It will just be a case of transferring them to their car.
Happy to collect from Waitrose in Egham and Tesco Addlestone.
Own car, fit and able to lift crates when filled with food.
