Reception/Administrator

We would welcome a volunteer to:

• Meet and greet anyone arriving at the head office in Reigate, signing in visitors, staff and people we support.
• Answering incoming calls and redirecting them to other office staff.
• Dealing with initial calls and message taking where necessary.
• Opening the back and front door when intercoms are buzzed.
• Date stamping and distributing daily post.
• Franking outgoing post.
• Booking meeting rooms electronically.
• Taking mail to the Post Office at 4pm each day.
• Laminating signs or pages.

What skills do I need?

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm if an unexpected situation occurs.
• Confident with answering and transferring telephone calls.
• Confident at using Outlook (or similar), Word (or similar).
• Respectful to all visitors and patient with staff and PWS.
• Previous experience in an office/reception environment highly desirable.
