Social Media Volunteer

The volunteer Department at East Surrey Hospital is looking to improve its social media presence through increasing our number of followers on Facebook and exploring new ways to reach a wider range of people.

This purpose of this role is to increase our social media presence. The role would involve developing and maintaining SASH Facebook page to promote our volunteering vacancies and the ongoing work of our volunteers.

Volunteer Role:

• Updating SASH Volunteering Facebook page and responding to comments (with support from the Team)
• Further improve social media presence, increasing the number of followers and driving more engagement across new and existing channels (e.g. Instagram and Pinterest).
• Create content for our website if necessary
• Assist staff in creating media to promote volunteering roles and upcoming events in line with the current volunteering agenda

 

What skills do I need?

• Comfortable using and have an understanding of social media
• Passionate about volunteering
• Able to work on their own as well as part of a team.
