Key Responsibilities:

Programme Development: Collaborate with local organisations, educators, and community members to design and implement a comprehensive Children & Youth program.

Produce an annual forward looking planning exercise to be discussed with VV’s management team.

Identify and prioritize initiatives that support the physical, emotional, and educational development of children and youth.

Suggest a funding strategy for various activities within the Programme as well as maintaining expenditures within the agreed budget.

Youth Engagement: Develop engaging activities, workshops, and clubs that encourage youth participation and personal growth.

Foster a sense of belonging and community among young members.

Children Engagement: Develop fun, active and engaging children activities, workshops and events.

Cultural and Recreational Activities: Plan cultural events, arts and crafts activities, and recreational outings to introduce children and youth to diverse interests.

Create opportunities for creative expression and cultural exploration.

Mentorship and Leadership: Establish mentorship programs that connect youth with positive role models and mentors within the community - consider link to Duke of Edinburgh Award programme Empower youth to take on leadership roles and initiatives.

Encourage youth to participate in community service projects and initiatives that promote social responsibility.

Create opportunities for young members to engage with local organizations and leaders.

Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Children & Youth programs and initiatives.

Prepare regular reports on programme outcomes and participation rates.
