Position Overview:

Vital Village is seeking experienced and committed individuals to serve as Advisory Board Members.

The Advisory Board plays a vital role in guiding the organisation's strategic direction, providing expertise, and ensuring that it achieves its mission and objectives effectively.

Advisory Board Members serve as trusted advisors, offering valuable insights and guidance to support Vital Village's growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the organisation, contributing to the development and implementation of its mission, goals, and long-term strategies.

Governance: Participate in board meetings, offering input on governance matters, financial oversight, and organisational policies.

Expertise Sharing: Offer expertise and insights in relevant fields, such as healthcare, community development, education, or social services, to enhance the quality of programmes and initiatives.

Advocacy: Act as ambassadors for Vital Village, advocating for its mission and work within their respective networks and communities.

Network Building: Leverage personal and professional networks to connect Vital Village with potential partners, funders, and collaborators.

Programme Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation of programme effectiveness, helping to identify areas for improvement and innovative approaches.

Resource Development: Support fundraising efforts by providing advice on donor relations, grant opportunities, and sustainable financial strategies.
